Roaming Bean Coffee is a permanent waterfront coffee shop at the Berkeley Marina, serving the community since 2023 from our custom container café. We offer handcrafted espresso drinks, teas, and house-made organic syrups in a relaxed, scenic setting by the water; a favorite stop for walkers, families, and marina visitors.

In addition to our Berkeley location, we provide full espresso catering for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings across the Bay Area. Our mobile espresso bars bring the same quality, calm service, and thoughtfully crafted menu to celebrations of all sizes.

Really cool vibe. I love that they have uncommon latte flavors. The Fogline latte in particular is delicious. The barista here is on point! When I came it was 1 woman holding it down. She was fast, friendly, and made beautiful lattes. I only wish the espresso was a little bit stronger. Overall it’s a great place to stop by while checking out the marina.

Absolutely love this place (out of this world consistently fabulous cup of coffee, wonderful views, often adorable dogs around to say hi too, etc), but by far what makes it a “must go to” spot are the wonderful faces who work so hard everyday to make Roaming Beam the lovely place that it is.

What a lovely coffee place! We discovered Roaming Bean at SF coffee festival and they truly stood out to us, we couldn’t forget them ever since. Luckily my husband and I moved to Berkeley soon after and now we get to have their coffee quite often. Every drink is consistently fantastic and the team is so lovely and friendly. We love coming to this area for a walk and grabbing a cup of coffee. Try their cardamom brown sugar latte, it is our favorite .

I go out of my way to come here - my fav coffee in the Bay! Jasraj is always warm, friendly, and a pleasure to chat to while he prepares my order. I absolutely love the location as well - perfect for a nice stroll with friends or for a run. 10/10

The brown sugar cardamom latte is amazing. This is my go to place when I come to Berkeley. They need to come to San Francisco ASAP.
